Amari Pomegranate-Lime Gimlet Recovery Cocktail

Unwind, restore and repair, with this healing take on the classic Vodka Gimlet. Our interpretation features pomegranate juice—rich in antioxidants shown to minimize exercise-induced inflammation, ease muscle soreness and speed recovery. If you can't find pomegranate juice, swap cherry juice for the same potent benefits. We used agave or honey instead of simple syrup; or skip the sugars, and sweeten with stevia or monk fruit.

For a booze-free, but equally spirited alternative, skip the vodka and serve over ice with a generous splash of sparkling water.

Ingredients

1/4 cup 100% pomegranate juice
Juice from 1 small lime, or 2 tablespoons bottled lime juice
1 tablespoon honey or agave (more or less, to taste)
2oz vodka
1 packet Amari Recovery
Lime wedges and/or pomegranate seeds for garnish (optional)

Combine pomegranate juice, lime juice, agave or honey, vodka and Amari Recovery formula in a cocktail shaker or glass jar; shake vigorously to mix well.

Strain into a small glass filled with ice. Garnish with lime wedges and pomegranate seeds.  Serve immediately.  Enjoy!
